"An Absolute Charm"

Their hospitality blew me away. They take care of you 110%. The room is gorgeous and cozy. The staffs are polite and kind. I actually can't write in words of how much I loved my stay here. You have to experience it yourself and I guarantee that you would not be disappointed.

"A slice of paradise in Jodhpur"

Conveniently located next to the hospital in the centre of town, Baijoo Niwas is easy to find and close to the action.

Stepping into this slice of paradise, the staff are welcoming and attentive. They are helpful with providing ideas and information on the town and its highlights, however definitely not pushy or overbearing with selling tours or guides. The restored property offers a heritage feel whilst being modern and clean.

The rooms are immaculate and more than perfect for a weary traveller. The beds are clean and comfortable, incredibly comfortable, with clean, clean sheets. The linen smells fresh and new and guarantee you a good nights sleep.

The bathrooms are spacious with plenty of hot water, another luxury when booking rooms at this price range in India. The showers and toilets are cleaner than anywhere I have ever stayed all over the world, which made this stay so comfortable.

They have both air conditioning and a fan both of which work perfectly and cool the room sufficiently. The rooms are large and tastefully decorated, some offering a comfortable seating area seperate to the bedroom.

The property offers rooftop views and a beautiful grassed court yard at the front which provides both sun and shade depending on the time of day. The on site restaurant is amazing and the chef is more then accommodating with his cooking style and spice level. Every meal is prepared fresh on site and you can taste the love each meal is made with. The kitchen and staff appear clean and we had no issues with eating there over our three day stay. A spicy chicken curry is a must and one of our top 5 meals in India. Make sure you ask for an Indian breakfast if you want an authentic and delicious experience or the kukfi and rose syrup for dessert. Yum!

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, they are polite and accommodating and always helpful.

"It's the place to stay in Jodhpur"

We arrived in a Jodhpur right at Diwali. The property is located by a gate to the old city which serves as an entrance to a lively market. When we arrived we were concerned that it would be a loud and hectic location. We need not have been worried. There was a large courtyard which shielded us from the bulk of the street noise. Even at Diwali, it felt peaceful inside the property. There are outdoor seating areas on each level which make for comfortable places to relax midday, as well as seating places downstairs. The rooftop area was a great place to take in the Diwali lights and fireworks.

The property is close to the bazaar, the step well, temples and other sights, all within easy walking distance. The family will assist in arranging transport and tours as well with trusted drivers.

The entire property is beautifully designed and remodeled from the original family home. Every detail is thoughtfully appointed and artfully arranged. I was really impressed how well thought out every design detail is.

We reserved the king suite. The room was lovely with a comfortable 4 post bed, window looking out on the street below, comfortable seating and plenty of room. The bathroom was, once again, impeccably designed. The shower was great, there was lots of hot water and the toiletries were quite nice. Linens and towels were good quality as well. The entire place was spotless. Water and treats were left for us daily.

The family lives at the property. They allow as much, or as little, interaction as the guests like. It was a perfect balance. We were invited to their private Puja, which was very touching. It felt like such an honor to be included. When we checked in, they noticed it was my husbands birthday when they took the photo copy of his passport. They actually bought him a cake, sang happy birthday to him and helped us eat it.

Breakfast was good. Every effort was made by all the staff to ensure we were comfortable, well fed and cared for.

"Exceptional place to stay in Jodhpur"

Beautifully new feeling building with a very classic relaxed vibe right off the main road. Rooms and outdoor spaces were perfect with garden seating, comfy sofa’s in the open hallways and large, spacious rooftop seating area with a great view of the fort. Twin bedroom was both spacious and had comfy beds, with a great modern bathroom. The staff were outstanding, polite, would help with anything and even arranged a full day trip for us when we were struggling to find something. The location is great, right at the bottom of the clock tower road and within old town. Indian Breakfast was tasty if you requested in advance. Would highly recommend staying at this fantastic find for your trip to Jodhpur.

"Great place to stay in Jodhpur"

People and their willingness to help and make you stay as home. Excellent service.

Just 20 minutes from the Fort and 15 from the Old Town.

Renewed, well decorated and extremely clean and beautiful, was so comfortable that we didn't want to leave the room.

We didn't have lunch and even if the chef was already gone they prepared for us some grilled sandwiches which were delicious.

"Best Homestay in India"

Definitely, this is the best homestay we've seen in India. Facilities, rooms and bathrooms are modern, just renewed and very nice! They make you feel like at home.

The breakfast is very good and you can also have lunch/dinner there if you want. The location is very good and the staff is kind and attentive.

We highly recommend Baijoo Niwas if you visit Jodhpur!

"Awesome place in Jodpur"

This is one of the best of all the hotels I have stayed so far.

The building is most beautiful in the old town, as is the interior and rooms. Location is nice. It is easy that reach to clock tower, fort, main bazar by walking.

And you can really relax after you walk around the city. Room is super clean. Of course Shower,AC, everything is completely working.

And the staff is awesome. They are passionate about making us feel comfortable.

They checked the train reservation for my next transfer and found that it was full, and immediately checked the bus times and presented a other way.

And in the morning, they packed breakfast for me and took me to the bus station by motorcycle. (And they prepared a cake for me on my birthday! I was very happy.)

It was a really wonderful stay!

I highly recommend here for staying in Jodpur.

"A breath of fresh air!"

Definitely one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time in India! Upon arrival we were greeted warmly by the staff and the manager, and we were given upgrade to a better room. Promptly they offered us some water since we have had a long journey and arrived quite late.

The hotel is located 500m from the train station, an easy 10 min walk to the hotel.

The staff was extremely friendly, and catered to all of our needs throughout our stay.

The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated - the whole hotel itself is a breath of fresh air in India.

The atmosphere at the hotel is so special that it really felt like home to us.

Congratulations to all the staff and Manager for the great job you did! If we are ever in Jodhpur again, we could only stay at Baijoo Niwas! Absolutely loved it and definetely recommmeend to everyone who passes through Jodhpur!

"A gem of a hotel in Jodhpur"

The most clean and comfortable hotel we have stayed at in India! The hotel is beautiful, calm, quiet, and decorated in traditional haveli style while having all the comforts of a modern European hotel. All of the staff are so friendly and helped us with anything we needed, eg finding us tuk tuks everyday at a good price, restaurant recommendations and arranging a taxi to our next destination. It is a short walk (10 minutes) or easy tuk tuk ride to the blue city where the majority of restaurants are. Good breakfast. We feel so relaxed after our stay here and 100% recommend.

"Great rustic place for that typical old style haveli experience"

What strikes you the most is the stark contrast between the busy bylanes of the outside vs the tranquility of the inside. The place is quaint and beautiful with all modern amenities a visitor would need to relax, including a small garden decorated with lights. The rooms were clean with comfortable bedding and the staff was courteous beyond words. The whole place had a warm vibe with old style decorations and doors. If you get lucky you might end of having an interesting conversation with the owner of the place who would tell you all about the idea behind this alluring yet simple stay. Do ask them for tips to roam around, transportation and shop, they will be more than happy to help. All in all we had an awesome stay, amazing food, great shopping experience ( thanks to the staff who guided us to the right places), a great conversation (courtesy the owner) and even our further travel plans were sorted as the future transportation was also taken care of under a budget. Would highly recommend this place if you are looking forward to a local yet elegant experience in Jodhpur.
